Looking to keep in shape between races or thinking ahead for a way to work off those holiday calories? Our Winter Warrior program is for you! Meet new training buddies, change up the scenery and get your miles in. Runners don’t let other runners run alone, especially on cold, dark runs.
Beginning the first Wednesday of the 2017 new year, Fleet Feet Hoboken will host it’s popular Winter Warrior Challenge!
Program Dates: January 4, 2017 – February 22, 2017
Program Cost: $0, nada, zilch
Program Goal: To keep you active outside during the winter months
The rules of the game are simple. All you have to do is attend and participate in as many Wednesday Night Fun Run’s as possible between January 4, 2017 and February 22, 2017. Runs leave from Fleet Feet Hoboken at 7pm every Wednesday evening and consist of scenic 3.4 mile or 6.8 mile routes (you choose whether to run one or two loops), along Washington Street and the Hudson River.
ALL pace groups are welcome. Walkers AND runners, exercise beginners and exercise fiends. We don’t care, we just want you to stay active this winter. And again, there is no cost to join this program!
What’s in it for you? You’ll earn prizes along the way based on points you’ve earned to date – good prizes, even better prizes, totally awesome prizes. Prizes will be awarded to those who attend the most fun runs according to the following criteria:
You earn ONE point for showing up for each run (8 runs total).
4 Points (once you have attended 4+ runs) => “Good job” prize of a Fleet Feet Pom-Pom Winter Hat
7+ Points (once you have attended 7+ runs) => ” Totally awesome job” prize of a Fleet Feet Hoboken $40 Gift Card
